Are You Wanting to Build a Healthier Lifestyle

with Herbal Medicine?

“Everything on the Earth has a purpose, every disease an herb to cure it, and every person a mission.

This is the Indian theory of existence” – Christal Quintas Ket 1888-1936 Salish.

Indigenous cultures have known for centuries how to live harmoniously with nature and the use of plant medicines.  Every culture and every medicinal system from Ayurveda to traditional Chinese medicine use herbs for therapeutic purposes.  There are thousands of herbs with thousands of different uses, many of which are used in conventional medicines as well as natural remedies.

Other cultures such as Native Americans, inhabiting both North and South America, use herbs in medicine.  Many of these traditions incorporate ritual and ceremony into their practices with the use of a medicine man or woman. As a Lakota woman, I was blessed to be taught these traditions.

Herbalism is designed to use herbs to treat the underlying causes of disease. Instead of looking at the signs and symptoms in treating the disease, herbalists look at the whole picture, from lifestyle to physical stressors, in order to recommend the right treatment. By knowing your own body, and energetics, you can experiment with each herb and learn how it works with you, personally. This then leads to observing how it might work well or poorly with others, depending on their personal constitution.

Herbalists, such as I, understand how different herbs work with the body. Once the cause of a condition is discovered, the herb is recommended to restore the body’s natural balance.  Herbs are also used as a preventative action to boost immune function and promote general well-being before disease occurs.

As founder of Oyate Herbals (pronounced “Oh-Ya-Tay”) and being raised with traditional plant medicines, I have had the privilege of helping many people heal themselves mentally, physically, and emotionally. My herbals give them assistance to live without pain, stress, or fatigue which can be brought on by hectic lifestyles.

My recipes have been extensively tested and perfected over several years. Our products are handmade with the highest quality natural and organic ingredients. The infusion process is carefully monitored to make sure we are producing and maintaining the highest quality product. As a traditional Native American woman, everything I make is made with love, care, compassion, and prayers so that it may bring healing and balance into your life.

Oyate Herbals has developed several different herbal remedies such as pain and healing salves, aromatherapy lotions and sprays, anti-aging wrinkle creams, natural sunshade lotion, soaps, herbal teas, and tinctures.

If you’re wanting to build a healthier herbal lifestyle, I can show you how to start your journey to a better way of living with nature.

“Oyate” means family or tribe. At Oyate Herbals we would be blessed to have you become part of our long-extended family.
